AbstractThe colchicine hypotonic air drying method was used to prepare chromosome slides of bone marrow cells of tiger frogs in Fuding City,Fujian Province,and the rapidsilver staining method of Howell and Black was slightly improved by Giemsa staining.Studying the karyotype and Ag-NORs of tiger frogs in Fuding City,Fujian Province,the results show that the karyotype formula is 2n=26,NF =52,which can be matched into 13 pairs of chromosomes;5 of them are large chromosomes (No.1 ~5),8 pairsof small chromosomes (No.6 ~13),no subconstriction and sex-related atypical chromosomes were found,and silver stains were not observed in Ag-NORs.Compared withthe reported karyotypes and Ag-NORs data of tiger frogs in different regions,the results showed that the chromosomes of sub-central centromere (SM),chromosome number and subconstriction marks,satellites of tiger frogs in different regions There are certain differences in location and other aspects,indicating that their karyotypes are diverse.Keywords:Fuding City,Fujian Province;tiger frog;karyotype;Ag-NORs;diversity
