AbstractIn this study,the mouse fibroblast L929 skin aging model was established byincubation with hydrogen peroxide (H2O2),and the protective effect of Sargassumfusiforme polyphenols on oxidative damage of L929 cells induced by H2O2 was studied.The results showed that Cell viability dropped to 41.4%of the control group afterexposure to H2O2.With the increase of the concentration of Sargassum fusiformepolyphenols,the activity of L929 cells increased gradually,which indicated thatSargassum fusiforme polyphenols had a protective effect on the oxidative damage of L929cells induced by H2O2.Meanwhile,it was found that polyphenols from hijiki can reducethe content of ROS in L929 cells in a dose-dependent manner.increase the total antioxidantcapacity in L929 cells,and reduce the content of malondialdehyde in cells to relieveoxidative damage to cells.This study provides theoretical support for the application ofSargassum fusiforme polyphenols in anti-aging marine cosmetics.Key words:Hijiki polyphenols;mouse fibroblasts;hydrogen peroxide;oxidative damage
