AbstractThe East Lake wetland park with East Lake as the core is of great significance to theecological and social benefits of Ningde City.However,with the development of the localeconomy in recent years,water pollution in East Lake has become a major problem to besolved urgently.This paper aimed to study the changes of physical and chemical indicatorsof water quality at different locations in East Lake in autumn and winter,and to analyze thespecies,quantity and density of phytoplankton at different locations.The results are asfollows.The identification results of plankton species indicate that the two seasons are thesame.In addition,26 species of plankton belonging to 22 genera and 6 phyla wereidentified,and the community structure was composed of green algae-cyanobacteria,andchlorophyll a part reached eutrophication.The number of phytoplankton cells varies greatlyin the whole lake.The average cell density in autumn is 3488.88+2002.92 cells /L,thatin winter is 1916.31 1142.04 cells /L.And the average biomass in autumn is 17.39+11.14 mg /L,that in winter is 41.20+23.38mg L.The dominant species areChlorellasp.,Aphanothece sp.and Cyclotella sp..Through measurement,it is found that theplankton biomass in East Lake was increasing and the water quality was furtherdeteriorating.The plankton biomass in East Lake was positively correlated with pH,watertemperature and other factors.This study provides a theoretical basis for water qualitymanagement of East Lake.Key words:East Lake;water quality;plankton;biodiversity
