AbstractGanoderma lucidumis a rare Chinese medicinal material that has beenused in China since ancient times.It has high medicinal value.Thepolysaccharides and triterpenes contained in it are the two importantactive substances of this fungus.The effects of different carbon sources onthe synthesis of Ganoderma lucidum polysaccharides and triterpeneswere analyzed by Plackett-Burman method.The polysaccharide contentand triterpene content in G.lucidum fermentation broth were determinedby using the product extracted from G.lucidum fermentation broth indifferent periods,and the polysaccharide content in different periods wasanalyzed by Plackett-Burman method,and the correlation betweenpolysaccharide content and different carbon sources was evaluated.Thisstudy can provide some reference data and conclusions for the efficientapplication of G.lucidum and the high quality research and developmentof health care products.The results showed that the effect of fructose,lactose and maltose on the extracellular polysaccharide of G.lucidum wasthe greatest.Fructose,lactose and maltose had the greatest influence onthe content of G.lucidum triterpenes.The combination of glucose andsucrose had the greatest effect on thebiomass of Ganodermalucidum .The combination of sucrose and maltose had the greatest effecton the intracellular polysaccharide of G.lucidum.Key words:Ganoderma lucidum;Polysaccharide;triterpenoids;liquid fermentation:Plackett-Burman method
