AbstractPenaeus Vannamei is an important economic shrimp in China.In this study,different concentrations (0%,0.75%,1%and 1.25%)of lactic acid bacteria were usedfor 30 days in freshwater culture of Penaeus Vannamei,the changes of physical andchemical factors of water quality and the promotion of lactic acid bacteria on body length,body weight and disease resistance of Penaeus Vannamei were measured.The resultsshowed that the addition of 1%and 1.25%lactic acid bacteria could effectively increasethe growth rate of shrimp seedlings,increase their vitality,improve the waterenvironment,and play a role in the degradation of nitrite,ammonia nitrogen and othertoxic substances,and reduces the water quality harmful substance causes the liver atrophyphenomenon.The results showed that adding lactic acid bacteria to the feed couldimprove the water quality,increase the growth rate of Penaeus Vannamei and enhance theimmune function of the shrimp.Keywords Penaeus vannamei Lactic acid bacteria water quality growthImmunity
