Research on the current situation and improvement strategies of vocabulary teaching in lower grades of primary school Chinese-Take S primary school in Suqian city as an exampleAbstract With the implementation of the new curriculum standards,the emphasis of Chineseteaching has gradually shifted understanding,so that some teachers ignore the depth of wordteaching,performance is often simply read,correct pronunciation,speak a few key words meaningunderstanding,directly entering the text study,such words teaching is rigid and lack ofvitality.With the in-depth implementation of the new curriculum standards.the focus of Chinese teaching gradually tumed to comprehension,so that some teachers ignore the depth of word teaching,the performance is often simply read,sound,say the meaning of several key words to understand,directly into the text learning,such words teaching is rigid and lack of vitality.Therefore,taking S primary school in suqian city as an example,the author makes a comprehensive discussionon vocabulary teaching strategies for the lower grades of Chinese in primary schools by means ofquestionnaire,literature analysis,practice,interview and other research methods.Through the analysis and summary of the questionnaire,we can understand the real situation of students'mastery of words.Based on the analysis of teaching materials and the observation and investigation of the current situation of vocabulary teaching in lower grade primary schools,some ideas and strategies for vocabulary teaching in lower grade primary schools are put forward.Through the studyfound that in the primary school Chinese teachers in vocabulary teaching in the process of teaching contents lack of expansibility,vocabulary teaching lack of cultural connotation of mining,the teaching way and the pupils development problems such as the separation of body and mind,themain reason lies in the teachers'degree of attention to the vocabulary teaching,teachers ignore students'cognitive characteristics,teaching methods are too single.Therefore,teachers should pay more attention to vocabulary teaching,pay attention to students'physical and mental development,and use a variety of teaching methods to effectively teach.Key words Primary School Vocabulary Teaching Teaching Strategy
