Research on multimedia teaching of mathematics in senior primaryschoolAbstract With the continuous development of social science and technology,today'ssociety has entered the stage of information intelligence.The combination of informationtechnology and education has become the mainstream,which is also reflected in the newcurriculum reform.Nowadays,teaching methods are more diversified,which puts forwardnew requirements for teachers and students in the new era.Therefore,multimediateaching has become a common teaching method in primary schools,and some scholarsstudy and use multimedia teaching for students to learn mathematics knowledge has a lotof promoting role.Through the methods of literature,questionnaire and interview,theresearcher investigated the senior mathematics teachers and the fifth and sixth gradestudents respectively.The survey found that the students have a high degree ofadaptability to multimedia teaching,but they still do not adapt to and do not like it Thesenior mathematics teachers like multimedia teaching more and use it more frequently,but use it less.It is found that the problems in the multimedia teaching of mathematics insenior primary school are:the equipment is not repaired in time;the courseware is notmade properly;the communication between teachers and students is not sufficient theteaching concept is not correct.The main reasons are as follows:the multimediamaintenance system is not perfect;the teacher's information technology ability isinsufficient,the teacher relies on the multimedia excessively;the teacher lacks theafter-school reflection and so on.Combined with the actual situation,the followingimprovement strategies are put forward from the aspects of primary school,teachersthemselves and normal colleges:improving maintenance system;establishingcourseware resource library;correctly understanding multimedia teaching,etc.Key words Primary school mathematics Senior grade Multimedia teaching
