Study on the teaching situation and strategies ofChinese reading in primary schoolsTaking a case study of senior primary school in Suqian as an exampleAbstract Because of the continuous development of the curriculum reform in recent years,thereading level of students is becoming higher and higher,which puts forward new requirements forthe quality of Chinese teachers'reading teaching.Under such reading request,the group textreading teaching starts to be popular,has provided one kind of new choice for the Primary SchoolChinese teacher in the reading teaching.Group text reading is an exploratory teaching mode thatrequires teachers to use several related texts for the same topic during the unit time in class.Thepresent study investigated the teaching of group reading by Chinese teachers in a primary schoolin Sugian by questionnaire.It is found that there are still many difficulties in the development ofgroup text reading.The main reasons are that the traditional teaching mode of reading hasfar-reaching influence,the actual effect of group text reading has not reached the expectation,andthe students'reading amount is too little.On the basis of investigation and research,the paperputs forward some suggestions for the healthy development of group text reading from theperspective of teachers.Key words:Primary School Students,group text reading,reading
