A Study on the problems and Countermeasures of inquiry learning in primaryschool mathematics-Taking a primary school in Sucheng District of Suqian City as an exampleAbstract Inquiry learning plays a significant role in primary school mathematics teaching andlearning.Since the implementation of the new curriculum standard in 2011,more and moreemphasis has been placed on students'dominant position in teaching.There are three leamingmethods advocated in the new curriculum standard:cooperative learning,autonomous leamingand inquiry learning.They are in good agreement with the requirements of the new curriculumstandard to highlight the main position of students.Through searching and studying the relevantliterature,questionnaire and interview,this paper studies the problems and Countermeasures ofinquiry learning in primary school mathematics.Through the investigation,it is found that there areproblems in the selection of topics,learning forms and methods in the practical teaching of inquirylearning.These problems may be caused by the lack of teachers'understanding of inquirylearning mode,the imperfect conditions for the development of inquiry learning,and the students'ability level not meeting the requirements of inquiry learning.After analyzing the reasons,thestrategies of deep learning,changing ways,striving for support,expanding resources,correctlyunderstanding and cultivating consciousness are put forward.Key words Primary school mathematics Inquiry learning Problems and countermeasures
