On the problems and strategies in the teaching of themeaning of decimalsAbstract The meaning of decimals is the understanding of numbers.The concept of numbersitself is abstract and general.It is easy for teachers to teach directly and students to acceptpassively.In this study,questionnaire survey,interview and observation are used to find that themain problems of decimal meaning in teaching are that teachers have not established a completeteaching goal,improper teaching methods,and students'interest in learning decimal meaning isnot high.The main reasons are:teachers lack of deep cognition of logarithmic concept structure,teaching methods are divorced from students'reality,ignoring the application value of decimals,students lack of consciousness of self construction,etc.Therefore,the strategies of improvingthree-dimensional goal,using geometric intuition to help students understand the concept deeply,promoting experience transfer to let students construct on their own,and exploring the applicationvalue of decimals are adopted to guide students to construct the concept of decimals in theprocess of continuous analogical reasoning,so as to understand the meaning of decimals indepth.Key words the meaning of decimals problems teaching strategies
