AbstractChinese prawns,also called oriental prawns,are mainly farmed.Due to thesudden outbreak of the COVID-19,the country adopted the strictest blockade strategyPeople can only purchase living materials through online channels.In order tounderstand the online and offline Chinese prawns sales in Ningde,this study took aquestionnaire to randomly send 900 questionnaires,thirty questionnaires are sentevery day.A total of 838 reports have been surveyed among residents in Ningde City,of which 768 are valid questionnaires.The survey results show that the price ofChinese prawns on the online purchasing platform has a clear advantage over theoffline;at the same time,due to the higher transparency of food-related safetyparameters online,people have more confidence in the safety of Chinese prawnspurchased online;People are also more willing to buy finished products;moreover,more diversified choices of online products,humanized after-sales service andconvenient transportation have also become the main reasons for people to chooseonline shopping.Based on the above research and analysis,this study believes that thechange in the online purchase form during the COVID-19 has promoted the arrival ofonline shopping trends.In the future,our shrimp operators should develop more formsfrom the perspective of consumers.Diversified,high-quality and inexpensiveproducts,and more attention should be paid to after-sales experience and otheraspects.Keywords:COVID-19,consumers,operators,China prawn,questionnairesurvey.
