Production process design of TPU with an annual output of 15000 tonsAbstractThe design is designed with an annual production capacity of 15,000 tons of TPU.Firstof all,the basic properties of the thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer(TPU),chemicalproperties,appearance,product application situation is introduced,then the current productionstatus,market demand and supply situation of a brief analysis and prediction,to combine theproduction process of some outstanding enterprises and reference a large number of literature,to design an efficient production process route of TPU.MDI,PBA and BDO were used as rawmaterials for the production,and one-step continuous polymerization was adopted.Thisdesign describes the whole process,process conditions,reaction mechanism,etc.,andaccurately draws the process flow chart with control points according to the design processroute.At the same time,the process of scientific material balance calculation,calculation ofraw material ratio,and combined with the heat balance calculation of the design used to selectthe production equipment,and then listed the material balance sheet and heat balance sheet.The equipment process calculation includes the design of the kettle body,the design of themixing device,the design of the heat transfer device and the design of the requirements ofeach part of the twin-screw reaction extruder.Combined with the above calculation results,the safest and most economical layout of the workshop is designed,including the layout of theworkshop and the layout of the workshop equipment,and the layout of the factory and thelayout of the workshop equipment are drawn.Finally,the total investment cost required by thewhole design is preliminarily calculated,including all the costs of raw materials,productionequipment,manpower and plant investment,etc.,and the profit that the annual output of15,000 tons of TPU of the design can bring is estimated.Finally,a treatment scheme isdesigned for the exhaust gas.Keywords:Thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer (TPU);Double screw method;One-step method;Continuous polymerization
