北京理工大学珠海学院2020届本科生毕业论文Statistical Research on High-speed Railway Construction to theDevelopment of Urban Innovation-Six Provinces in Central ChinaAbstractIn our statistical research,we used panel data from 80 cities in six provinces in CentralChina from 2009 to 2016.First,we build a multi-time DID model.Next,the PSM-DIDmodel was established.It can dig deep into whether the opening status of the city's high-speed rail has an effect on innovation.And what is the innovation effect.The researchshows that,taking the six provinces in central China as an example,the construction ofhigh-speed rail and the opening of stations can effectively improve the innovation indexand capacity of areas along the high-speed railway.On the one hand,the overall growtheffect,the fixed effect difference before and after the opening of the high-speed railwayis 0.61.On the other hand,it brings a diffusion effect,triggers a two-way flow of capitaland talent between regions or cities,and promotes innovative growth in regions along high-speed railways.We have put forward suggestions and specific measures from three aspects:patent popularization,enterprise layout,and network sharing,which provide a reference forurban innovation development.Keywords:Innovation high-speed railway opening PSM-DID model growth effect
