Strategies for cultivating primary schoolstudents'computational ability----Taking a primary school in Suqian City as an exampleAbstract One of the important abilities of students to learn math is Mathematicalcomputing ability.It involves all aspects of learning elementary math.Students needoperational support when learning concepts,arithmetic,rules and solving practicalproblems.And the characteristics of the thinking development of third grade students inelementary school is the transition from concrete image thinking to logical abstractthinking,so that students'math learning at this stage is at a critical stage.This article will face two objects of teachers and students,one is through themethods of testing students,questionnaire survey and classroom observation,this papermakes a research and analysis from four aspects:students'view on the ability ofoperation,students'mastery of the operation form,students'operation habit and students'reflection habit after class,so as to identify the problems and causes of errors in thestudents'calculations;Secondly,teachers are interviewed and recorded,from theteachers'views on the caculation abiility,problems encountered in the teaching ofoperation and their views on the strategy of operation are analyzed,based on theirpractical experience,finally,some strategies and suggestions are put forward to promotethe development of students'computing ability.The investigation shows that students have the lowest loss rate of verbal arithmetic,lower loss rate of vertical arithmetic and mixed arithmetic,and higher loss rate ofestimating and solving problems.According to the test,questionnaire analysis andteachers'experience,put forward teaching suggestions to promote the development ofstudents'computing ability:(1)students should correctly treat mathematical operation ;(2)students'interest in learning mathematics should be improved;(3)teachers shouldemphasis on the teaching of mathematics;(4)students'good operation habits should becultivated.Key words Primary School Math middle school math numeracy raining strategies
