Research on the teaching of Chinese poetry reading in primary school based on discourseAbstract Poetry,whether ancient poetry or modem poetry,occupies an importantposition in Chinese education in primary schools in China.The study of poetry helpsstudents to feel the culture of the Chinese nation for five thousand years,and promotesthe all-round development of primary school students in virtue,intelligence,Physique andbeauty.However,in the process of teaching,many teachers follow the general steps:Reading through-interpreting characters and words reciting poems translatingpoems,which float on the surface and do not let students really understand theexpression and inner meaning of poems,thus,the pragmatic goal is not achieved.In thispaper,we investigated the problems and the causes of Chinese poetry instruction inelementary school,and proposed a decision of the teaching goal,selection of guidancecontents,and improvement of the teaching strategy for pragmatic reading.Theeffectiveness of Chinese poetry education in the elementary school is enhanced,and itplays an original role.Key words Primary school Chinese Poetry Discourse study
