Study on new problems and countermeasures ofGuangdong tea export tradeAbstractThis article is based on the Guangdong tea production and sales data from 2013 to 2019,covering nearly 7 years Guangdong tea export status of characteristics,with evaluation todomestic and international market competition ability indexes,to study the size of thecompetitive advantages of tea industry in Guangdong.And by comparing with other maintea-producing provinces in China,this paper make a conclusion that in Guangdong,the teagrowing intensive degree is low,and its comprehensive advantage not obvious as well,and itsoverall competitive advantage,in the general level,only far weaker than that of Zhejiang andFujian provinces.This paper points out that in Guangdong,the export of tea is facing newproblems along with weak competitiveness at home and abroad,and the market share is low.Moreover,its tea export markets are relatively concentrated,and the ability to resist againstrisks is poor comparatively.This paper finds out that other problems also stop the expansionof tea trade,including lacking of brand building,trading too much on primary products,andthe trade war between China and the United States,other green trade barriers of morecountries restrict the export of tea,the low investment in science and technology,and theincrease in export cost,as well as the serious impact on the global outbreak of coronavirus.Inorder to enhance the competitiveness of Guangdong tea export and promote the sustainableand stable growth of Guangdong tea export,this paper has a try to put forward some strategiesand Suggestions that might hopefully be useful for further study.Keywords:Guangdong province;Tea trade;Market competitiveness;New problems;advice
