Study on Ni RuixuanAbstract Ni Ruixuan is a talented woman poet born in the early years of the QingDynasty which was founded in 1636AD and perished in 1912.She began to read theChinese classics in her childhood and became a learned and talented poet after years ofhard work.She had rich experiences in society and life.She was sensitive and had greatinsight.Though she lived a short life,she wrote a large number of poems.It is a pity thatshe burned up most of her poems just before she passed away.Only two hundred and fiftyeight poems were left.These poems have been read and appreciated until present days.In history,several critics,such as Yuan Mei the famous writer and critic in the QingDynasty,mentioned,appreciated and commented on her poems.However,up tonow ,few scholars have ever done specific research on her life experiences ,contents ofher poems and the art characteristics of her poems.With the help of the book"Collating ofThe Remaining of Ni Ruixuan"written by prof Mr.Cheng.Fangyin,analyzing the ackgroundsof her living times and studying her poems carefully,we can find that her poemsconcernwide fields,including scenery description,travelogus ,celebrating historical deeds,send-off,eclogues,national affairs,and banters and so on .Her poems contain abundantof thoughts and show the persistent pursuit of the aesthetic of the author.They alsoreveal the poet's natural and colloquial application of the language,various creatingmethods and electic creating styles.All these art characteristics can be founded in NiRuixuan's poems.Key Words Ni Ruixuan poem contents of the poems art characterstics
