AbstractTextbook analysis is the premise for teachers to finish teaching tasks as well asthe guarantee of optimizing classroom teaching.Doing well in the textbook analysis isof great significance in promoting development of textbooks.In this paper,we firstly discuss the significance of the research on the analysis ofjunior middle school mathematics textbooks,and the ability of analyzing teachingmaterials for normal students and junior middle school mathematics teachers based ona questionnaire about the "junior middle school mathematics textbook analysiscapabilities".Next,four suggestions for the analysis of mathematics teachingmaterials are extracted.Finally,we take the seventh grade (Volume One)ofcompulsory education textbooks as the example to study the junior high schoolmathematics textbooks.Key words:Textbook analysis,Teaching tasks,Junior middle school mathematics,Seventh grade Volume One)
