AbstractThe history of mathematics is a science that takes the development course of mathematics as the object,and explores the contents,ideas,methods and research course of mathematicians in the process of mathematical production.It is very importantfor middle school mathematics teachers to embody the application of the history ofmathematics in the actual teaching,to skillfully impart the history of mathematics to students,and to permeate the cultural value and educational connotation of the history ofmathematics.In this paper,starting from the history of mathematics education research status at present stage,a part of middle school teachers as the research object in pingtan investigated the application of the history of mathematics in middle school mathematics teaching situation,the analysis of the nature of these phenomena exist and putforward the relevant problems existing in the history of mathematics teaching,to study the value of history of mathematics in middle school mathematics teaching and to improve the history of mathematics in middle school mathematics teaching is given using the advice.Keywords:Mathematics teaching in middle school;Mathematical history;Educational value
