AbstractThe thought of classified discussion is one of the important mathematicalthoughts in junior middle school mathematics.In this paper,from the four aspects ofnumber and formula,solving equation,geometry and function,through the analysis oftypical examples,the author expounds the application of classified discussion injunior high school mathematics problem-solving.Finally,some suggestions are putforward on how to improve the application level of the classified discussion ideas ofjunior high school students,in order to help students better understand and understandthe classified discussion ideas,and apply the classified discussion ideas to the actualproblem-solving.Key words:Classified Discussion Thought;Junior Middle School Mathematics;Problem Solving Ability
