Investigation and Analysis of the Quality of Questions Raised by Students inJunior High School Math Classes-Taking X High School in S City as AnExampleAbstract With further research on the theory of discovery learning,the cultivation of students'consciousness of questions has gradually come into being.Different from the professionalquestions raised by teachers,the questions raised by students are diverse and rich in variety,thus ignored by teachers.By collecting students'questions of two classes at two levels of XHigh School in S City,Dividing the qualities of the questions based on the classificationstandards.In addition,it is found in the statistical analysis of students'questions that:with thelow initiative in the teaching process,students are not able to actively respond to the questionsraised by teachers,and the quality of questions raised by students is low.On the one hand,itreflects students'serious lack of the consciousness of question;on the other hand,it reflectsstudents'weak self-thinking ability.In view of the problems of middle school students,putforward two suggestions:Firstly,teachers should change the teaching and class structures inorder to alleviate students'unwillingness to cooperate.Secondly,teachers should encouragestudents to think actively and cultivate the consciousness of questions of students and theability to raise high-quality questions.Key words students'questions,question consciousness,question quality,discovery learning,math education第2页
