Tongji University Master of Business Administration AbstractABSTRACTWith the last 20 years rapid development in China automobile industry,it playsan important role in China economic development.In the field of the OEMs andcomponents company,most of the heading company are MNCs,but now with thedevelopment of the Internet,Information Technology and New energy technology,thetraditional automobile manufacter are facing the the disruptive change.Automobileand component manufacturers are in the process of the technology and organizationtransformation,as well the project management transformation.This paper is based on the case study of the T productline in MNC C automobilecomponent MNC.Firstly after analysing the automobile industrial environment and"smile curve",we found the necessity of transformation of company C.Byinvestigating the internal project management process,comparing projectmanamgement model between Scrum and Waterfall,we found the way to optimize theproject manangment in C.Secondly,after analysing the issue in C company,we found the key problems are:long leadtime to problem solving,low meeting efficiency and stumborn to process.With internal internview and benchmarking,we found the root cause are:looseproject manangment organization structure,new requirement conflict to old processand lacking of cross team communication.Thus,we take F project in T productline as pilot project.After establishinglearining organization,adjustment of project structure,customer demand analysing,daily project manangment optimization based on Scrum model,and also using thedigital to empower the project team,we accompanished the project goal in adance.This pilot project achieved to win the company C China wide 2nd prizeandvglobally excellence prize.This paper researchs to establish the agile project management concecpt in Tproductline,investigates the necessity and maneuverability in C company,whichcould be a good reference for further hardware project manangement optimization inother project.Key Words:Multinational Company,Industial company transformation,Agile projectmanangment,Learing organization.
