Effect of Wnt4 Recombinant Protein on Expression of Genes Related toGranulosa Cells of Chicken hierarchal FollicleABSTRACTOvarian follicle selection is an important process impacting the fecundity of hens.Studying the molecular mechanism of follicle selection can provide a theoretical basisfor improving egg production performance.Wnt signaling pathway can regulate manyphysiological processes during ovarian growth and development,such as follicledevelopment,ovulation and luteinization.Wnt4 is a member of the Wnt family it plays aregulatory role in the reproductive system of female animals.In order to study the effectof Wnt4 on follicle selection,this study examined the effect of Wnt4 recombinant proteinon the expression of related genes in chicken hierarchal follicle granulosa cells.Theresults showed that Wnt4 recombinant protein could significantly increased theexpression of FSHR and CTNNB1,it also could promote the expression of StAR andCYP11A1.The results of this study can provide a certain research basis for the study ofthe function of Wnt4,and also provide a reference for further elucidating the molecularmechanism of chicken follicle selection.Keywords:Chicken;follicle selection;Wnt signaling pathway;Wnt4;qRT-PCR
