A Study for a Kindergarten in Sugian City:The Present Situation ofPreschool Teachers'ReadingAbstract With the development of science and technology,more and more fragmentedinformation around us,so how to learn knowledge comprehensively and systematically isour focus.Reading as a way of learning can help us to acquire knowledge from books,andimprove our literacy and ability.Due to the professionalism of teaching profession and theparticularity of preschool teachers'educational targets,preschool teachers need to payattention to reading so that the knowledge reserve of preschool teachers can beincreased,the comprehensive literacy of preschool teachers can be improved,and theprofessional level and the level of education and teaching also can be improved.This paper mainly uses questionnaire and interview method to carry on the investigationto the preschool teachers in one of kindergartens in Sugian.By investigation andanalysis,it founds that the importance of reading is universally recognized by thepreschool teachers in Suqian.However,it is also found that there are some problems inpreschool teachers'reading,such as the number of books they read is less,the content ofbooks they read is incomplete,and they read books in a random way and lack goodreading habits.This study will summarize the causes of preschool teachers'readingproblems and put forward suggestions from preschool teachers'and kindergarten'sperspectives to improve preschool teachers'reading by using fragmented timereading,enriching reading contents,developing good reading methods and habits,creatinga good reading atmosphere and strengthening library construction,etc.Key words preschool teachers reading investigation on present situation
