Research on Problems and Strategies in the Teaching of "Using Number Pairsto Determine the Position"in Primary School Mathematics-Taking a primary school in Suqian City as an exampleAbstract "Using number pairs to determine the position"is the new content of this curriculumreform,which belongs to "graphics and geometry",one of the four major learning areas of primarymathematics.Because of its special teaching content,it has given it flexibility in teaching.It iseasier for teachers to dig out its flash points and create new sparks in teaching.As a result,theproblems were analyzed and concluded by investigating the situation of using a number of pairs todetermine the position in one primary school in Sugian,such as the lack of teachers'awareness ofthe nature and rules of concepts,the lack of diversity and flexibility in the choice of teachingmethods,sufficient attention to assignments and exercises,lack of effectiveness in implementinggenerative goals,etc.And it provides corresponding targeted improvement countermeasures,including:refining the core of thought,setting contradictions;focusing on mathematical thinking,improving mathematical literacy;eliminating "imitation"in exercises,exploring the nature behindthe topic;focusing on generative goals,and taking "Mathematical flavor"and "human flavor",witha view to providing reference for primary school mathematics teaching.Key words primary mathematic number pairs determine the location teaching strategy
