AbstractPerformance management,as an important part of enterprise human resourcemanagement,has a significant impact on job adjustments,personnel changes,andsalary distribution in enterprises.It is particularly important to utilize performancemanagement to unleash employees'initiative in entrepreneurship and achieve healthyand sustainable development in the enterprise.The problems exposed in performancemanagement of M Company,as a key state-owned enterprise in C region,urgentlyneed to be solved,so it is urgent to optimize the current performance managementsystem.This article takes M Company as the research sample,analyzes and studies the currentperformance management status of M Company using literature research,interviewmethods,and questionnaire survey methods,and then constructs a new performancemanagement system PDCA cycle.In the optimized performance management system,the following conclusions are mainly drawn:firstly,improve the communication andperformance coaching mechanism from four aspects:formulating communicationplans,utilizing various communication methods,mastering communication skills,andestablishing performance evaluation and reporting mechanisms;Secondly,multi-dimensional application of performance results should be carried out from fouraspects:establishing a performance incentive mechanism,paying attention tosubstandard employees,establishing a management position echelon through talentinventory,and providing training and development basis;Thirdly,it providesimplementation guarantees for the optimization plan from three aspects:creating ahigh-performance cultural atmosphere recognized by all employees,cultivating andexercising the performance management abilities of managers at all levels of thecompany,and building a digital and information sharing online performancemanagement platform.
