Investigation and Research on the Use of Mathematical Multiple RepresentationLearning Theory in Mathematics Teaching in Junior Middle School-Taking SCity Z Middle School as an ExampleAbstract By investigating the status quo of the use of mathematical multi-representationlearning theory in junior middle school mathematics teaching,giving teaching suggestions andintegrating mathematical multi-representation learning theory into mathematics teaching.Afterconsulting the literature and understanding the meaning of the multiple representations ofmathematics,through classroom observation,questionnaire and interviewr investigating thecurrent situation of the use of multiple representations in Z middle school mathematics teaching.Itis found that the application of multiple representations of mathematics has been very popular injunior high school teaching.Teachers will use multiple representations to help studentsunderstand mathematical concepts when teaching new classes.Students will use multiplerepresentations to solve mathematical problems.The higher the frequency of representation,butneither teachers nor students have systematically studied mathematical multiple representations,and the application of mathematical multiple representations mostly stays at the level of using asingle representation.Therefore,we can help teachers understand the multiple representations ofmathematics by holding lectures,distributing related books,and learning online,in order thatteachers are able to teach students the combination of multiple representations of mathematicswhen writing instructional designs and use mathematical representations to convert newknowledge into each other to train students to convert between multiple mathematicalrepresentations.Help students understand the meaning of mathematical representations,andthen use mathematical representations,so that students can more quickly,efficiently and targetedto remember mathematical concepts and solve mathematical problems,improve the ability tolearn mathematics.Key words Mathematical multiple representation math education Mathematical conceptMath skills Math problem solving
