AbstractThe history of mathematics is a part of mathematics culture,which plays animportant role in cultivating students'mathematics literacy,humanistic literacy andcomprehensive quality.The physical and mental characteristics of primary schoolstudents require us to follow the cognitive laws of primary school students inmathematics teaching design.The disciplinary characteristics of primary schoolmathematics require us to respect the historical facts of the development ofmathematics itself in teaching design.Based on previous researches,this article usesthe advance organizer strategy,occurrence teaching method,and situational teachingmethod to design the teaching of mathematics history in primary schools.Key words:Primary school mathematics;Mathematical history;Instructional design;Teaching strategy
