students are interested in the history of mathematics.In addition to mastering the knowledge ofthe history of mathematics in the textbook,they can also learn the knowledge not covered in thetextbook through extracurricular reading.However,due to the limited access to the history ofmathematics,they have little knowledge of the history of mathematics.Therefore,for the problems existing of junior middle school teachers,higher normal collegesneed to strengthen the construction of mathematical history curriculum;junior secondary schoolsshould actively carry out training or research activities on HPM topics;teachers should activelystudy the history of mathematics,and leamn to promote reflection,with the help of collectivewisdom;HPM researchers should create HPM teaching case database;textbook writers need toenrich the history of mathematics in their textbooks.For the difficulties encountered by junior highschool students,the school should carry out activities in the history of mathematics,give lectureson the history of mathematics,establish reading corner or wall newspaper,and create papers andopportunities for students to contact the history of mathematics;mathematics teachers need touse a variety of forms to apply the history of mathematics in classroom teaching,such as tellingmathematics stories,introducing the occurrence and development process of mathematicsconcepts,and introducing historical solutions or solutions,introduce the historical famousquestions,introduce the mathematical paradox in history,and introduce the mathematical thinkingmethods in historical materials.Key words history of mathematics junior high school mathematics teachingapplicationpresent situation
