ABSTRACTWith the human life level unceasing enhancement,some volatileorganic matter pollution is serious.Formaldehyde is a common airpollutants has been confirmed by the world health organization (who)asthe substances that cause cancer and birth defects,scientific andeffective treatment for it also received widespread attention from allwalks of life.How to establish efficient of the formaldehyde in indoorair purification method improved indoor air quality has been the latestissue.Indoor volatile organic pollutants in the existing processingmethod,on the basis of people constantly seeking a better airpurification technology in order to better solve the problem of indoorpollution.An overview of the formaldehyde properties,sources,toxicity andharm to the human body,summarizes the existing detection methods offormaldehyde spectrophotometry (acetyl acetone method,CTA acidspectrophotometry)and electrochemical method.The advantages anddisadvantages of various methods.Put forward to establish a simple andrapid and sensitive methods for detection of formaldehyde will be thefocus of future research.Key word:Research Progress on detection methods of formaldehyde目录
