AbstractUnder the call of the Party Central Committee,colleges and universities in Chinahave set off a wave of "Ideological and Political Courses"."Ideological and politicaleducation in curriculum"is an innovative teaching method,an innovation based onclassroom teaching,and an innovative attempt to combine moral education withprofessional education.The integration of "Ideological and Political Courses"intoorganic chemistry theory teaching can not only educate students to masterprofessional theoretical knowledge,but also cultivate students'good moral quality.This paper explores the current situation of Ideological and political courses andorganic chemistry teaching in Colleges and universities,and makes a questionnairesurvey on the teaching situation of Ideological and political courses and organicchemistry.From the results of the questionnaire survey,we can see that 80%of thestudents have low attitude towards the ideological and political course and lowenthusiasm for learning.Secondly,the data shows that only 23.75%of the studentssaid that teachers would help them understand and memorize with the aid of teachingaids,life examples and chemical historical facts,while most of the students said thatdue to the complexity of the learning content and the high requirements for spatialimagination,there are difficulties in the learning process of organic chemistry.93.75%of the students think it is necessary to integrate ideological and political educationelements into basic courses,which will help their learning.Taking the teaching of the introduction of organic chemistry as an example,thispaper designs a teaching plan for one lesson,realizes the organic integration ofprofessional courses and ideological and political courses,forms a joint force ofeducation,and gives full play to the educational function of the classroom to a greaterextent.Key words:Curriculum ideological and political;organic chemistry;teachingreform;innovative teaching concept
