Production process design of 6,000 tonsof benzoic acid per yearAbstractThis design is the production process design of 6000 tons benzoic acid per year.This design briefly introduces the main use,production status and development trendof benzoic acid.Benzoic acid production process is the main part.First,determine theprocess flow and process conditions.And then implement material balance and heatbalance.Then determine the equipment parameters required for process productionand the consumption of raw materials and utilities.Then,set up an automatic controlscheme to select pipes and production methods.Arrange the workshop reasonablyafter the above steps are completed.In addition,a complete treatment plan for thethree wastes produced in the benzoic acid production process is proposed.At last,asimple technical and economic evaluation of production and construction is needed.Keywords:Benzoic acid;Toluene;Distillation;Process simulation
