Preparation of Humidity Regulating Resin for Pot CultivationSummaryIn this paper,non-ionic humidity regulating resin was synthesized from polyvinylalcohol 1788,maleic acid,terephthalic acid and starch.The water absorption capacity ofhumidity regulating resin was tested under different alcohol acid ratio,in order to obtain thebest alcohol acid ratio,and hope to obtain a biodegradable water absorption resin with betterwater absorption capacity.The main part of the experiment is divided into three parts:theinfluence of the ratio of PVA to maleic acid,the ratio of PVA to terephthalic acid,the ratio ofPVA to maleic acid,the ratio of terephthalic acid to alkyd,the ratio of PVA /starch to maleicacid,the ratio of PVA starch to maleic acid,the ratio of PVA starch to maleic acid and theratio of p-benzene The influence of the alcohol acid ratio crosslinked by dicarboxylic acid onthe water absorption of the resin.The results showed that the maleic acid crosslinked PVA resin was too soft to form astable crosslinking space and its water absorption was not good.The resin formed byterephthalic acid and PVA has rigid cross bond to restrain the expansion of the resin and lowwater absorption.The DN,PVA and maleic acid terephthalic acid resin with interpenetratingcrosslinking structure has the highest water absorption rate of 1378%.Powder PVA,maleicacid resin and maleic acid will form two types of resin,one is pressure dehydration of spongestructure,and the other is similar to other humidity regulating resin,which will not dehydratea lot under pressure.Keyword:PVA;humidity regulating resin;water absorbency;DN hydrogel structure
