Preliminary process design of acetaldehyde plant with annualoutput of 65000 tons abstractAcetaldehyde,as a hydrocarbon derivative,is an important raw material in organicsynthesis industry.The production of acetaldehyde method has the following several,acetylene water law,alkane gas phase oxidation law,acetaldehyde oxidation law,ethylenehomogeneous oxidation law,and in industrial production often use acetylene water law andethylene homogeneous oxidation law.Among them,ethylene oxidation reaction conditionsare mild,high product yield and good economic benefits,so it is widely used in industrialproduction.The process flow of acetaldehyde by one-step oxidation of ethylene was designed,including reaction,regeneration and distillation.With the help of Aspen,Excel and othersoftware,the design and simulation of the process flow were carried out,and the materialbalance,heat balance and equipment selection were carried out according to the given productoutput.And made the workshop layout design,automatic control scheme design,using CADsoftware to draw the control points,workshop layout,main equipment and process flow chart,and finally to chemical safety and environmental protection design and the entire processdesign for the project budget,and finally compiled the design task book.Key words:acetaldehyde process flow design equipment selection
