北京理工大学珠海学院2020届本科生毕业设计Process Design of Annual Production of 80000 Tons of Ethylene OxideAbstractThis design uses ethylene and oxygen as raw materials and silver catalyst as the catalystto produce 80,000 tons of ethylene oxide per year.The article introduces the properties and uses of ethylene oxide,discusses the futureapplication prospects of ethylene oxide in the middle and downstream,comprehensivelycompares the advantages and disadvantages of ethylene oxide chlorohydrin method and directoxidation method,and market share The conversion rate of ethylene oxide in this design schemereaches 10%,and the selectivity reaches 80%.Comparing the development of ethylene oxide industry abroad,the synthesis process ofethylene oxide is determined,according to the process of process design,the materialaccounting for each required operating equipment is accounted for,the thermal changes of thewhole process are accounted for,and then the ethylene oxide distillation tower is calculated,the operating parameters are determined,and all calculation results and design process arecombined to draw a process flow chart and the equipment flat surface layout.In view of the hazardous characteristics of the substances in the production process,thecorresponding safety measures are worked out to ensure safe production,the solutions for thedisposal of three waste sands and environmental protection are proposed,and the emissiontargets are used as much as possible,so that the emission targets meet the national standards.Key words:Ethylene oxide;Process flow:Material balance;Calorie balanceIV
