Nondestructive testing of egg qualitybased on acoustic characteristicsAbstractAs a popular food,egg production is increasing year by year.Since the egg was produced,its quality has been affected by various factors,such as congenital deficiency,impropertransportation,storage deterioration and so on,resulting in a part of waste of human andmaterial resources.Consequently,the study of egg quality is very important and necessary,too.At present,there are several methods to study the egg quality,including optics,mechanics,electromagnetics,but there is no acoustic research.Based on this point,the acousticcharacteristics of eggs were measured in this experiment.CTS-65 non-metallic ultrasonicdetector was used to measure the penetration sound of two types of eggs under normaltemperature and heating conditions.By measuring the distance between the penetration pointof the transmitter and receiver probe,the transmitted sound velocity can be calculated.Through the analysis and discrimination of numerical approximation model,it's concludedthat the sound velocity of intact eggs should be in a reasonable range(2.0km/s-2.5km /s),andother behaviors that change the internal quality of eggs,such as heating to destroy the internalprotein structure,will increase this range.This conclusion can provide some reference for thenondestructive testing of egg quality,and verify that there is more feasible direction for thenondestructive testing of egg.Keywords:Egg quality Nondestructive testing:Acoustic characteristics:Comparativeanalysis目录2
