本科论文AbstractIn recent years,China has developed rapidly,its opening up has increased,and its exchanges with the international community have become more frequent.A Bite of China I is a self-created Chinese food documentary,which is popularwith audiences at home and abroad,and many overseas audiences havedeveloped a strong interest in China.Its subtitle translation is an important partof the documentary as it spreads overseas.A Bite of China I is a landmark work in the history of Chinese TVdocumentaries.It breaks through the tradition of traditional Chinese fooddocumentaries seeing only“things”and not“people”,draws lessons fromand absorbs the ideas and techniques of contemporary documentary shooting,emphasizes the interaction between man and nature,and greatly increases theappeal and affinity of food.Although China is already the world's second-largesteconomy,the lives of ordinary Chinese people are still very simple,and the livesof people in individual regions are still quite hard.From this point of view,ABite of China I help the outside world to understand China's real nationalconditions and the life of ordinary people,and is quite helpful to eliminate thefalse cognition and prejudice of the outside world about China's rise.The article analyzes the subtitle translation of A Bite of China I from theperspective of the audience based on Skopos theory and Maslow's hierarchy ofneeds.Analyze the case of subtitle translation using a combination of theory andactual practice.In conclusion,according to the research,the use of Skopos theory is a goodguarantee for the smoothness,continuity,and authenticity of the sentence in thesubtitle translation.Maslow's hierarchy of needs can reasonably analyze theneeds of the audience.This research enables the translator or audience tocorrectly understand and apply translation skills in the subtitle translation of"4Bite of China I to meet the needs of the audience.Keywords:A Bite of China I;Skopos theory;audience aspect
