北京理工大学珠海学院2020届本科生毕业设计Design of a plant to produce Methyl 4-tert-butylbenzoateusing 4-tert-Butylbenzoic acid and methanol as raw materialsAbstractMethyl 4-tert-butylbenzoate is a fine organic chemical raw material with good prospectsand has significant impact in cosmetics,medical applications area and so on.This designanalyzes the domestic production status and downstream demand of Methyl4-tert-butylbenzoate in China,analyzes its production methods in detail,and finally selectsthe production of methyl tert-butyl benzoate using sulfuric acid as a catalyst Craftsmanship.This design mainly designs the plant that produces 4-tert-butylbenzoate with4-tert-butylbenzoic acid and methanol as raw materials,and selects the process in detail.Thefeed preheater and coarse separation in the process Distillation tower,refined rectificationtower,and catalyst recovery rectification tower were subjected to material balance and heatbalance calculation.We use Aspen Plus V11 software to simulate our experiment andoptimize the operating parameters of the number of plates,reflux ratio,and feed of the crudefractionation tower.The position of the plates was optimized,and the tower was subjected tohydraulic check to obtain a high-efficiency distillation tower.Finally,the process materialflow chart (Process Flowsheet Diagram,PFD),process pipeline and instrument flow chart(Piping and Instrument Diagram,P&ID),equipment layout diagram and plant area diagramdesigned by the factory were drawn.Keywords:Methyl 4-tert-butylbenzoate;Aspen Plus;Esterification reaction;SunscreenΠ
