AbstractApple is one of the most widely eaten fruits in the world,cultivated in more than80 countries and regions.China has a long history of apple production and uniquegeographical,climate,human resources and market conditions.Apple surpassed theUnited States for the first time in 1992 and has consistently ranked first in the world.China is the world's largest apple producing and important exporter,after joining theworld trade organization,apple and apple juice concentrate has obvious competitiveadvantage in the international market competition.The apple growth environment inshaanxi is excellent,and its area and yield are the first in the country.Concentratedapple juice production and export volume also ranked among the top in the country,inthe world apple pattern occupies an important position.The apple industry is one ofthe six pillar industries of shaanxi national economy.There are also some problems in the development of apple in shaanxi province.The original government-led promotion system is weakened,the operationmechanism is weak,and the construction of science and technology innovation islagging behind.There has been a new type of diversified social promotionorganizations,but mutual segmentation,alone,cause of science and technologyinnovation ability is weak,the transformation of scientific and technologicalachievements is slow,technology popularization coverage is small,hard to bear thetechnical promotion.The technology promotion system of the apple industry inshaanxi is facing the challenge of deepening reform and re-establishing functionalorientationIn this paper,based on shaanxi apple industry advantage,through the summaryand draw lessons from domestic and foreign research achievements of popularizingagricultural science and technology development,with agricultural extension relatedtheory as the instruction,by adopting the combination of field survey and in-depthinterview method,using the system research and typical research,the combination ofmicro and macro analysis,the method of combining objective systematically analyzesthe present situation of shaanxi apple industry science and technology popularization
