AbstractSewage treatment stations to deal with the odor generated by sewage,thisproblem has now become a major environmental problem to be solved in China.Hydrogen sulfide and ammonia are the main components of odorous gases,especiallyin sewage treatment plants.In the treatment of odor-producing substances,thetraditional treatment methods are physical,chemical and biological methods.Physicaldeodorization methods only deal with some odor-producing substances,but can notcompletely deodorize them.The operation cost of chemical methods is relatively high,while the investment cost of biological treatment methods is relatively high,and theyare vulnerable to external environment.Because of the environmental impact and thelimitation of water source treatment,the development of biological deodorizationtechnology is slow,but with the continuous research,this method has become arelatively new type of waste gas treatment technology developed in recent years.Compared with other gas deodorization technologies,biological deodorizationtechnology has relatively simple process.It has the advantages of convenientoperation and relatively high efficiency.It is a relatively complete and safedeodorization method in recent years.Odour is an important part of the gas pollutants produced in many industries.Inthe process of industrial production,the emission of odor gas produced by sewagetreatment in many industries is an important indicator of environmental pollutiondetection。It was found that the main components of odorous gases include hydrogensulfide,aromatics,ammonia,aldehydes,alkanes and so on.The most commonpollutants are hydrogen sulfide,ammonia,acetaldehyde,toluene,benzene,styrene,xylene and so on.But the composition of the pollutants is closely related to the typeof wastewater,and the odor gases from different wastewater treatment are different.Among the many treatments,biochemical treatment combined with A-O processand biotrickling filter had better removal effect on VOC.In the course of the study,2
