Design of fermentation workshop with an annual capacityof 100,000 tonsABSTRACTThe design of this factory mainly includes the design of production process flow,the design and selection of production equipment;also the calculation of materialbalance,water supply and gas supply.The production scale of this factory is toproduce 100,000 tons of alcohol per year.According to the comparison of theadvantages and disadvantages of the production method of alcohol,the factory adoptsthe method of biological fermentation for alcohol production.The fermentationmethod refers to the fermentation of microorganisms to produce alcohol,which hasfewer by-products in the production process and has applications in many aspects.Inthe production of raw materials,dry tapioca raw materials are used.After synthesizingthe advantages and disadvantages of each process step,the mixed cooling continuoussaccharification process,continuous cooking process,large tank inclined bottomcontinuous fermentation,three tower distillation and other production methods arefinally adopted.Finally,according to the design and selection of production processand equipment,the layout of the fermentation workshop and the design of thefermentation tank were drawn.Keywords:alcohol;Alcohol;alcohol process design;material balance;starchy rawmaterials
