Catalytie cracking of biomass using char-based catalyst in a two-stage Fixed-bedreaetorAbstractThe fir sawdust was used in this experience.We used two vertical fixed bed reactor.Thebelow section of furnace is used for sawdust pyrolysis.The top section of furnace is used for tarcracking.We research on one or more kinds of metal-based carbon,such as Ni Ca Mg.Fe,influencing on the changes of small molecule products of plant fiber cracking.We analyze andcompare different types of metal catalysts influencing on biomass catalytic cracking.In theprocess of pyrolysis,the gaseous products were real time detected by gas chromatography,theliquid after cooling were analyzed by GC-MS,and the structure of metal-based carbon wereanalyzed by XRD.The results show that in the process of fir pyrolysis produced lactose,aldehydes,ketones,phenols,which are oxygenated compounds,when they passed the hotmetal-based carbon,they are all cracked into rich-hydrogen gas.Among of catalysts,theNi-carbon catalyst is the best,which crack a large of CH4,but also is good at cracking the lighttar and heavy tar.K-carbon and Ca-carbon catalyst play the role on the cracking of light tar,butin the process of cracking,it generate a greater amout of coke and water.Fe-carbon catalystplay the role on the light tar.But Mg-carbon has no significant as catalyst.In addition,theNi-Fe/carbon is less catalysis effect than Ni-carbon.Keywords:catalytic cracking;wood char;metal/C catalyst
