AbstractAcid pickling wastewater is the wastewater generated when metal surfaceoxides are treated by acid pickling with sulfuric acid,nitric acid,hydrochloric acid,hydrofluoric acid,phosphoric acid and other acids.According to the characteristics of heavy metal pollutants in this kindof wastewater,the wastewater is pretreated by pH adjustment-flocculation tank-sedimentation tank to convert the metal ions in thewastewater into hydroxide precipitate and then remove it.The effluentis treated by sequencing batch reactor (SBR)to explain COD andnitrification to decompose ammonia nitrogen through the reaction ofmicroorganisms.After biochemical effluent is treated by sandfiltration and advanced oxidation,the effluent is discharged afterthe water quality reaches the standard.Keywords:Waste water from metal products;SBR:heavy metal pollutan
