北京师范大学珠海分校工程技术学院A meta-analysis of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi effects onTrifolium Plants growthABSTRACTWith frequent drought,water logging,high temperature,low temperature,environmentaldegradation as well as pollution ecological disasters caused by global change,the biosphere issuffering unprecedented environmental pressure,and those changes willseriously affect theproduction and development of agriculture,forestry and animalhusbandry in a direct orindirect way.For this reason,people actively explore new ways ofprotecting habitatenvironment,keeping ecological balance,and improving environmentalsafety.ArbuscularMycorrhizal (Arbuscular Mycorrhiza,AM)is a kind of symbiont formedby plant roots andArbuscular Mycorrhizal fungi (Arbuscular Mycorrhizal fungi,AMF).What's more,AMfungi-plant system widely exist in the nature.Meta analysis was performed to quantify the effect of AM fungi inoculation on plantbiomass and nutrientuptake of Trifolium plant.In this research,525 independent observationswere extracted from 30 published scientif-is papers through database search of Web ofScience.The results indicated that total biomass,shoot biomass androot biomass of Trifoliumwere significantly increased by AM fungi inoculum.Plant uptake of nitrogen and phos-phoruswas also promoted.Both AM fungi species and Trifolium species showed influence on theeffect of inocula-tion.Gigaspora margarita inoculation showed the largest amount of biomassenhancement in Trifolium,while the shoot and root biomass of T.alexaudriuum stronglyresponded to AM fungi inoculation.The stress treatment signifi-candy reduced the effect sizeof plant shoot and root biomass.The effect size of plant N,K and Zn uptake wassig-nificantly positively correlated with incubation.Key words:Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi;meta-analysis;inoculated;effect size
