AbstractProfessional identity is the key to the quality of higher education,which does notonly affect the four-year study career of college students,but also has a certain degreeof influence on their future development planning.This study is mainly carried out byliterature analysis,questionnaire survey and interview.First of all,through the literatureanalysis method,author consults the relevant professional identity materials,generallygrasp the basic situation of professional identity;secondly,investigator carries out aquestionnaire survey on the first-year undergraduate students of pedagogy major in theCollege of Educational Science of L University to grasp the specific students'professional identity in pedagogy;finally,investigator interviews some of the studentssurveyed to understand their views on pedagogy in depth,their own professionalidentity situation,in order to deeply explore the influencing factors of professionalidentity,and make targeted suggestions.This research can basically present the currentsituation and existing problems of the professional identity of freshmen in pedagogy.On this basis,it can analyze the causes of this situation,provide some targeted andoperable countermeasures and suggestions for the development of pedagogy specialtyand talent training,to help freshmen of pedagogy to view their major correctly,improvetheir enthusiasm for learning,and plan their college life reasonably and realize thevalue of life.Keywords:pedagogy;freshman;professional identityII
