AbstractGlutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px)is one of the most important peroxidaseenzymes in the body,which has an important effect on the innate immunity of fish.Larimichthys crocea is one of the most important economic fish in China and seawater is also one of the characteristic industry in Ningde.In this study,addingdifferent proportion of Chinese herbal medicine compound were added in the feed ofL.crocea (radix pseudostellariae,ba ji,angelica,medlar,poria cocos,atractylodes andso on).After feeding after 30 days,the spleen was isolated and extracted for RNA.The real-time fluorescent quantitative PCR was used to analyze the relativeexpression of GSH in different groups.The results showed that compared with thecontrol group,the gene expression in each experiment group were decreased (with theexception of E5 group),and the expression of E3 group decreased most (43%),followed by El group (31%),the expression of E5 group amount higher than thecontrol group was 19%,but there was no significant difference between groups(P isgreater than 0.05).The results of this study was to Chinese herbal medicine as baitadditives provide basic data for the application in the Larimichthys crocea feed,alsoprovides the Chinese herbal medicine as a fish immune enhancer prophase researchfoundation.Key words:Larimichthys crocea;Gene expression;GSH-Px
