本科论文AbstractScientific English is a special style in modern English.Its language respectsobjective facts and pursues scientific thinking logic.With the rapid developmentof modern science and technology and the deepening of global economicintegration,scientific English has been paid more and more attention by thescientific community and the language community.But in the process oftranslating scientific articles.However,in the process of translation,thetranslator finds that the translation made according to the original does notconform to the Chinese usage norms,and realizes that the faithfulness oftranslation does not only stay in the state of complete equivalent output to theoriginal.In translation,we should also consider the readers'receptivity,so thatthe translation can be readable and acceptable.However,different languagesbelong to different cultural backgrounds.Therefore,translation is a kind of crosslanguage,cross culture and cross society communication activity.It is not only askill,but also an art with creativity and scientificity.A successful translationmust be consistent with the cultural category of the translation,which isespecially reflected in literary translation.However,it is also necessary to takethis into account when doing EST translation.To sum up,by considering theprinciple of faithfulness in EST translation,we can combine the three levels of"three step strategy"to make the translation better show the original text.This paper analyzes and discusses the translation principles and skills ofwords and syntax in EST from the perspective of the stylistic characteristics ofEST,combining with many specific examples.This paper is divided into fourparts,covering the stylistic features,translation principles,translation standardsand the suggestions and requirements for the translation of long sentences andcomplex sentences.On the basis of summarizing the translation characteristicsof scientific and technological articles,this paper expounds and discusses thesecharacteristics by citing some examples,and puts forward some principles to befollowed in the process of translation of scientific and technological articles,andthen analyzes and discusses how to realize the accurate translation betweenEnglish and Chinese in combination with the characteristics and principles
