AbstractSplit extrusion is a newly named local continuous plastic forming methodwhich is still in the research and exploration stage.In this paper,swallowtail groove with a depth of 10mm and a bottom width of 12mm is takenas the research object.By means of numerical simulation and physicalsimulation,the wedge wedge wedge extrusion process of swallowtail grooveis studied,and its forming rules are preliminarily summarized.The main work and achievements of this paper are as follows:(1)put forward the dovetail groove of splitting extrusion formingresearch plan,identified with split Angle (a),splitting into Angle(beta),the dovetail Angle (0)as the main influencing factors ofsplitting extrusion forming and main index steady state deformation andmaximum forming (P),groove side elevation height (H)and uplift influencewidth (B),splitting into fall Angle (a),unstable uplift length (L)andwaste relative groove surface length (OL).After the interaction testproves that there is no interaction between a and,the orthogonal testmethod is used to reasonably arrange 16 groups of tests.(2)using finite element simulation software Deform 3 d to dovetailgroove splitting extrusion forming process is simulated research,respectively,in the process of splitting extrusion forming load curve,equivalent stress and strain distribution,tracking point displacementcurve and so on are analyzed in detail,and the stroke -load curve andsimulated pictures in the form of the combination of the splittingextrusion forming process is divided into clink wedges,steady statedeformation,clink launched waste 3 phase;The results show that thewedging deformation zone of dovetail trough includes wedging Angle,frontpile-up,uplift of groove side and bottom compression.(3)anova was performed on the simulation test results with the helpof orthogonal design software (orthogonal design assistant IV3.1).Theresults showed that:the order of primary and secondary factors affectingP was 0,a and:the order of primary and secondary factors affecting Hand B was B,0 and a;The main factors affecting A are;The factorsaffecting L are 0,and a in the order of priority;The main factorinfluencing delta L is delta;The influence curve of each factor on theindex was drawn.Six sets of test molds were designed and manufactured,and physical tests were carried out using lead materials.(4)the causes of slot opening and groove side uplift defects indovetail slot splitting extrusion were analyzed.Two improvement schemeswere proposed for the slot opening,setting the lag Angle o of the fixedslot and automatically generating variable o;The reverse solution designidea was proposed for the uplift of groove side,and a blank preformingshape was designed.It is verified by numerical simulation test.
