本科论文AbstractWith the development and opening of China,the proportion of foreigntourists in China's tourism industry has been increasing gradually.Tourism notonly brings great economic benefits to our country,promotes the development ofeconomy,but also introduces Chinese culture to foreigners.As an important wayfor foreign tourists to acquire tourism information,tourism text translation hasdeveloped rapidly and plays a role in information transmission and culturaltransmission.China has short tourism text translation history,the tourism textinvolves a substantial amount of knowledge in various fields and due to thedifferent language,cognitive structure and values at home and abroad,there area lot of problems in the tourism text translation,such as Improper diction,language redundancy,cultural mistranslation and omission.This will not onlycause difficulties in understanding for foreign tourists and transmit wrongcultural information,but also affect tourists'impression of Chinese touristattractions and damage China's international image.Therefore,it is necessary tostandardize the translation of tourism texts.Skopos theory is often applied to travel texts because it focuses on thetarget audience.This topic studies on the translation of tourist attraction,comprehensively summarizes the materials related to Skopos theory and tourismtexts,listing the existing problems in the translation of domestic touristattraction,to classify,summarize and analyzes the causes of errors,and todiscuss translation strategies and solutions.Through this research,the authorhopes to attract more attention to the translation of tourism materials,to improvethe translation quality of Chinese tourism texts,and to promote the developmentof China's tourism industry and cultural communication.Keywords:tourism text translation;Skopos theory;Cultural transmission
