本科论文AbstractNowadays,with the development of the globalization,English plays anincreasingly important role.However,listening as an important Englishlanguage skill,has not received enough attention in primary school's Englishclasses that it deserves to.The process of English listening learning is repetitiveand dull,but primary school students have the characteristics of curiosity,hyperactivity and cannot concentrate on one thing for a long time.Therefore,there is a problem of insufficient listening ability in the current English learningof primary school students in China.Moreover,learning English well is difficultfor primary school students who have just started to learn English.Therefore,teachers should adopt some interesting teaching methods according to thecharacteristics of students.English animations,as an audio-visual material with simple language andclear pronunciation,are theoretically and practically applicable to Englishteaching in primary schools'listening classes.English animations are acombination of words,videos,images and sounds,which are athree-dimensional language environment.This three-dimensional Englishlanguage environment enables students to make full use of their vision andhearing,which could help them learn English better and improve their listeningskill.Meanwhile,in primary school's English classes,using English animationsto learn English can stimulate students'learning enthusiasm and interest,andalso helps expand students'vocabulary,improve their language sense,pronunciation and intonation.This paper is divided into three parts,and it mainly talks about the benefitsof using English animations in primary school's listening class.Through thispaper,the author hopes that more and more people could realize the importanceof enhancing English listening skills.It could have certain reference value withthe purpose of improving students listening ability.Keywords:English animation;primary school;listening ability
